Our Mission
To empower, educate, emotionally encourage, mentor, and practically assist parents and their children to live better and more successful lives by freeing them from poverty, violence, hunger, and homelessness.
SSPI Goals
- Be the #1 resource for families by providing comprehensive and timely services to meet their needs.
- Create a platform for parents to voice their challenges, needs, and concerns.
- Raise community awareness of widows & all single parents’ unique challenges and the impact those challenges have on our community.
- Providing workshops for parents & their children.
- Providing counseling for families to address life issues including parenting, violence, abuse, depression and anxiety.
- Set families on a successful path towards financial, emotional and psychological self-sufficiency.
Our programs include: Parenting Matters, Widows & Single-Moms Program, Period Poverty Matters, and Hands of Love. SSPI with it's growing community has already organized successful events. We partner with other organizations to reach out to a great number of families and individuals.
